Richard S. Harris

Richard S. Harris, age 79, of Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. Mr. Harris was born in New Richmond, OH, and is preceded in death by his wife Billie Coleen (Stephenson) Harris, parents Claude and Julia Alyward Harris and brother Claude Harris, Jr. Mr. Harris served in both the US Air Force and US Navy with 20 years’ service. His hobby was genealogy. Survivors include his daughter Elizabeth Harris, son Paul Harris (Robin Rice), granddaughter Rayna Harris, siblings Carol Russell, Donald Harris, Jim Harris and their spouses. Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held Friday, September 28, at 9 a.m., at Biloxi National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Catholic charity of one’s choice.
