Richard "Ricky" Allen Dobrowski

Richard “Ricky” Allen Dobrowski, 57 of Lucedale, MS passed away unexpectedly on February 8, 2024.

He was born on June 23, 1966 in Westerly, RI. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for Vice Construction for nearly thirty years. He was an active member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church and the Elks Lodge in Pascagoula. He served in the St. Vincent DePaul Society for several years, helping those in need. He was also an usher and served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. He had a huge heart and was very generous with his time and anything he had to those in need, including his family and friends.

Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Joseph L. Dobrowski, Sr.; and mother, Antoinette “Toni” Kopack Dobrowski.

He is survived by his siblings, Linda (Ron) Holtorf of Ocean Springs, MS, Donna Dobrowski Gorline of Brandon, MS, Joseph Dobrowski, Jr. of Mobile, AL, and Steven Dobrowski of Gulfport, MS; two nieces, Tina Holtorf Dellinger and Kelly (Daniel) Osburn; two nephews, Karl Gorline and Ronnie Holtorf; five great-nephews, Tristen Holtorf-Kaltenbaugh, Ian Dellinger, Cedric Dixon, Daniel David Osburn, and Griffin Osburn; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ricky will also be missed by many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial donations be made in Ricky’s memory to St. Vincent DePaul, 4900 Riley Rd., Ocean Springs, MS 39564 or a favorite charity.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 16, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, Ocean Springs. Friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park, Ocean Springs.
