Rick Joseph McManus

Rick Joseph McManus, 38, of Biloxi, MS, died Saturday, March 12, 2005 in Biloxi. Rick was a lifelong resident of Biloxi. He attended Notre Dame, Mercy Cross, and graduated from Biloxi High School in 1985. He was an Electrician and Construction Contractor by trade. He was previously employed at Ingalls Shipbuilding for 10 years. Rick had a love for music, fishing and passionate love for his family. His tender heart and contagious smile made everyone he met feel special. His smiling eyes and warm sense of humor will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Mr. McManus was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Herman J. Wilson; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Olivia Locke; his aunt, Linda Lea Locke; two uncles, George and Dennis Locke and his Godfather, Carmel "Val" Valestro, He is survived by his daughter, Brook McManus and granddaughter Mykaila of Gulfport; his mother Patti McManus of Biloxi and his father Frank McManus of Ocean Springs; his brother Chris McManus of Biloxi, his sister, Lisa McManus Daniels and her husband, Danny,of Atlanta, GA, his grandmother, Norma Wilson of Biloxi; aunts Pam Bauman of Biloxi; Linda Everett and Tina Munn both of Gulfport; Bobbie Jo Fore of Wiggins; Robin Locke of Lafayette; Donna Sue Locke and Elizabeth Mobley both of Bloomington, IL On Tuesday, March 15, 2005, there will be a 12 noon Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church in Woolmarket, where friends may visit one hour before service time. Burial will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
