Known as Ricky or “Mo-Money” to many, was born September 14, 1969 and passed away August 26, 2015 at the age of 45.
Ricky was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He was a graduate of Biloxi High School; a Firefighter III with the Biloxi Fire Department for 24 years, as well as, an independent paint contractor. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Latimer; a 4th degree Knight of Columbus, Council #1244 and a member of Elks B.P.O.E. Lodge #599.
He was preceded in death by his mother in law Eva Lea Lloyd with whom he had a special relationship.
He was a loving and devoted father and is survived by his two daughters Shelby Lea Moore, Savannah Michele Moore and their mother Michele Lloyd Moore. Other surviving family members are his father Ervin Lewis Moore, mother Sandra Fortner Calvert, Step-mother Mary B. Moore, Father-in-law Norbert Lloyd, Sr. Sisters, Amy (Doug) Williams, and sister Melissa “Missy” Tindol (Kevin), Brothers in law, Norbert (Jane) Lloyd, Jr., Josh (Mary) Lloyd and Chris (Linda) Lloyd. A special Uncle Russell and Aunt Alice Moore, along with other aunts, uncles and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service was held Monday, August 31, 2015 where his remains were buried at the Bonnie Chapel Cemetery on Oneal Road close to the family home.
