Rita Arceneaux

Mrs. Rita Arceneaux, 88, of Biloxi, MS, died Thursday, May 4, 2006, in Gautier. Mrs. Arceneaux was a native of Abbeville, LA and had been a resident of the coast for the past 70 years. She was retired from Southern Shell/Weems Seafood Factory and a member of St. Marys Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Arceneaux; a son, Sherril "Bee" Arceneaux; her paretns, Adonis and Avilda Boutte', and two brothers, Enole Boutte' and Etienne Boutte'. Survivors include her daughter, Fay Waltman and her husband, Rayford, of Biloxi; one sister, Edith Sonnier, of Abbeville, LA; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, May 7, 2006, from 5 until 10 p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Rosary will be recited at 7 p. m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church in Woolmarket where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Odessey Hospice Health Care and River Chase Village.
