Rita Cuevas Talbot

Rita Cuevas Talbot, age 95, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011 in Long Beach. She worked for Sears in the 1950's. She lived on 11th Street in Gulfport for 68 years before Hurricane Katrina took her home and she moved to Long Beach. She was preceded in death by her parents Raphael Cuevas and Mary G. Hammer Cuevas; husband, Albert Talbor; four brothers and one sister. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Pamela Serrato, Amy Green, Terry Cuevas and a host of other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great great niece, which is her name sake. The family would like to give a special thanks to Paul Cook, R.N. with Odessy Hospice, Care Giver Anna Niotet, special thanks to great nephew Ryan Serrato for the wonderful care. Visitation Monday, April 18, 2011 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Funeral Service Monday, April 18, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. both at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport, MS. Interment will be in Gulf Pines Cemetery.
