Robert "Billy" W. Robertson

Robert “Billy” W. Robertson, 67, of Slidell, MS passed away Friday, January 10, 2025 peacefully at Slidell Memorial. He was born October 7, 1957 in Flint Michigan to James and Ruth Robertson.

Billy earned two associate degrees at Nicholls State and Delgado. He worked as a Tugboat Captain and a Physical Therapist Assistant. In his free time, he enjoyed shooting pool, watching football, listening to classic rock, carpentry, and the outdoors. Billy was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother and will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruth Robertson; siblings, Jimmy, Roberta, Julie, and Johnny; and grandson, Gavin.

Survivors include his spouse of 49 years, Cynthia Robertson; children, Glenn, Bobby (Michelle), and Alex (Amber); grandchildren, Ethan, Drew, Ryder, Riley, Isobel, and Landry; siblings, Juanita and Jeanette; sisters-in-law, Doris, Cathy, and Debbie; brother-in-law, Clay; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 pm to 3 pm on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Billy and Cynthia's home.
