Robert "Bob" H. Milner, Jr.

Robert “Bob” H. Milner, Jr., age 84, of Gulfport passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 24, 2023.

Bob was a lifelong resident of Gulfport where he was born to Robert H. Milner, Sr. and Olivia Emeline Willis on January 18, 1939. He graduated from Mississippi State University, and then from Ole Miss where he studied law. Bob’s work carried him from Pan Am Airlines to NASA, and finally Lockheed Martin where he worked until retiring in 2000.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Broome Milner.

Survivors include his children, Robin Carol Milner, Christopher Robert Milner, and Rachel Milner Shoultz (Russell); grandchildren, Carol Milner Taylor and Mary Jane Taylor; and brother, John Kennedy Milner III.

The family owes a huge debt of gratitude to Joann Burdine, our help and his caregiver and friend. She will always be our angel.

The family held a private graveside memorial on Friday, September 29, 2023. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Milner family.
