Robert Bryant Ross

Mr. Robert B. "Bob" Ross, age 76, of Vancleave, MS., died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, in Vancleave. Mr. Ross was a lifelong resident of Vancleave. He retired from Morton-Thiokol Chemical Company and was a member of the Jackson County Bowling Association Hall of Fame, the United States Bowling Congress Hall of Fame and the Jackson County Dog Hunter Association. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Emmons Ross, mother, Ethel Rice Breitenbach, father, Louis Breitenbach and grandson, John Tyler Ross. Survivors include his son, Jimmy (Vicki) Ross of Vancleave, three daughters, Marti (Danny) Davis of Big Point, MS., Tricia (Calvin) Parker, of Vancleave and Tina Rizzo of Pascagoula, MS., eight grandchildren, Kim (Drake) Broussard, Donnie (Melissa) Ruble, Shane (Phan) Davis, Kristen Thompson, Dustin Davis, C.C. (Faith) Parker, Angela (Jason) Law and Cara Rizzo, and nine great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS. 39507. Private services will be held at a later date. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
