Robert Gerald "Bubba" Carlisle

Robert Gerald “Bubba” Carlisle, age 53, of Biloxi, went HOME Monday, November 4, 2013. Bubba was a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. He was a graduate of d’Iberville High School where he was voted Mr. DHS his senior year. He attended Southeastern Louisiana University on a football scholarship where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. He served as Associate Pastor of Iron Horse Community Church. Bubba is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Robert M. and Joyce Carlisle. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Pamela Sanford Carlisle; sons, Jacob (Heather) Carlisle and Justin Carlisle; sister, Gail Carlisle (Royce) Lamey; grandchildren, Bella and Addy; and a host of family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made in his honor to Iron Horse Community Church Building Fund, 21041 Success Rd., Saucier, MS 39574. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Biloxi at 12:00 p.m. Friends may visit two hours prior. Interment will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
