Robert Charles Gibbs

Lt. Col. Robert C. Gibbs, USAF Retired, 91, of Gulfport, MS died on Monday, April 19, 2010. Mr. Gibbs was a native of Flint, MI. He retired after 30 years of service from the USAF and was a veteran of WW II, Korean and Vietnam Wars. Mr. Gibbs was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert A. and Lena Richmond Gibbs; wife, Roseann Theresa Gibbs; son, Michael Steven Gibbs. Mr. Gibbs is survived by his son, Don (Ginny) Gibbs; grandsons, Robert D. (Jennifer) Gibbs and Richard (Holly) Gibbs; five great-grandchildren; one sister and one brother. Visitation will be Monday, April 26, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, West Biloxi. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 pm in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
