Robert Clifton Cowan III went to be with the Lord on November 15, 2014. Robert spent most of his professional life in the construction business building roads, alongside his father at RC Cowan Construction Company in Florida. He most recently lived in Biloxi. Along with his passion for traveling, he loved cooking, fishing, reading and football. But, Most of all he loved entertaining family and friends, and you could always count on hearing a great story. Robert is survived by his sister, Carole Cowan Wilen; four daughters, Melinda Cowan O’Keefe, Melissa Cowan Brown, Melanie Ann Cowan and Monica Cowan Nigro; eight grandchildren, Cherie Renee Ripp, Bridgette Lauren Lovelace, Rachel Kathleen Shoemaker, Steven Craig Kellum, Jr., Robert Ray Ellis, Lauren Jeaneane Tucker, Meagan Gabrielle Gill, and Richard Burton Brown, Jr.; and nine great-grandchildren, Scott Forehand, Jr., Elijah Touchstone, Gage Forehand, Skyann Stainton, Brooklynn Shoemaker, Micah Galloway, Aidyn Kellum, Emerson Lovelace, and Michael. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi, MS on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until the service.
