Mr. Robert F. Bandoly, 84, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011, after a short illness.
Mr. Bandoly, formerly of Chicago, was a Biloxi resident for the past 45 years. He retired after honorably serving 21 years in the U. S. Air Force and continued his instructing career with the U. S. Civil Service at Keesler Air Force Base for the next 20 years. Bob was proud to be a 32nd degree Mason at the Gulfport Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of Biloxi First United Methodist Church and a member of Sunkist Country Club. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Bob is preceded in death by his mother and father, Robert and Irene Bandoly of Chicago. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mae Bandoly, two children, Margaret "Peggy" Bandoly Nanninga, Plano, TX, and Robert L. Bandoly, Indianapolis, ID; four grandchildren, Joshua Nanninga, Austin, TX, Sean (Rachel) Bandoly, Indianapolis, ID, Melissa Nanninga (Michael) Mendez, Burbank, CA, and Diana Bandoly, Indianapolis, ID. He was also the proud great grandfather of two children, Braden Bandoly and Eisley Mendez.

Visitation is Monday, March 14, 2011, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors.
