Robert Charles Ferro

Robert Charles "Bob" Ferro, 81, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Wednesday May 3, 2023 in Gulfport.

Bob was born in Chicago, IL on August 12, 1941.  He served his country in the US Army for 14 years and the Army Guard and Reserves for a total of 28 years of military service.  He loved antique cars and car races, boating and gun shows.  His last obsession was turning his office into a train room that he had been working on for the past year.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. and Francis M. Ferro.  Bob is survived by his spouse, Janice Byrd Ferro; his children, Thomas Charles "Chase" Ferro (Marnetia); stepdaughter Jeannie Parks (Don); grandchildren, Ryan A. Parks, Kyle N. Parks, Melissa Pierce, Richard Martin, Hunter Mixon, Brooklyn Pierce and Camaron Pierce.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Visitation will be Friday, May 12, 2023 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. followed by a service at 3:00 p.m. at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15452 O'Neal Road, Gulfport, MS 39503.
