Robert Barrett Fishman

Our beloved Robert Barrett Fishman tragically left us on March 17, 2023.

Preceding his untimely departure from this world was his grandparents, Ann & Frank Macklin and Hal & Rhoda Fishman and various aunts & uncles. He has left behind a loving family mother, Kathleen Macklin; father, William “Bill” Fishman (DeAnn); and sister, Nicole Lee (Alex). He was also a loving Uncle to Kaiden & Kelsie Lee. Besides family, he left behind a slew of close friends who shared his passion for the outdoors.

Always waiting for his next adventure, Robert loved boating and fishing and other outdoor activities. He had a kind and giving soul, endlessly helping friends and strangers alike. Robert’s infectious sense of humor always brought a smile to everyone’s face. It brings a sense of comfort that Robert passed away doing what brought him the most pleasure… being on the water.

Robert was a long time member and was on the board of the MS Fishing Banks. If you are able, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Robert’s memory to MS Gulf Fishing Banks, P.O. Box 223, Biloxi, MS 39533.

There will be a brief memorial service and a celebration of Robert’s life to be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 2 PM at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Porter Ave. in Ocean Springs. Friends may visit from 11 AM – 2 PM.
