Robert G. Bunt

Robert G. Bunt, 69 of Gulfport, died Monday, October 13, 2008 at Keesler Medical Center in Biloxi. He was retired from the U.S. Navy after 28 years of honorable service as a steel worker. He will be remembered as a ham radio operator, father, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Mary P. Bunt; daughter, Rachel M. Cotter; three step-children, David J. Sachs, Tina M. Abshire, and Joy Ann Boie; seven grandchildren, Brandon S. Cotter, Tyler J. Cotter, Heather R. Abshire, Cody J. Abshire, Megan M. Boie, Quinton J. T. Boie, Madison C. Boie, and a great-grandson, John T. Seay. There will be a graveside service Friday, October 17, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
