Robert J. "Bob" Weldon

Robert J. "Bob" Weldon, 78, of Biloxi, MS went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in Biloxi. Bob was a resident of Biloxi for the past 12 years. He was a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran who served during the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. He also retired from the Michelin Corporation as a Distribution Manager. His retirement years were spent doing his two favorite past times, playing the guitar and keeping his grass cut to perfection. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mittie Weldon; daughter, Judy Bonhas; and brother, Ross Weldon. Survivors include his wife, Ahling Weldon; daughter, Linda Weldon; son, Dave (Minnie) Weldon; step-daughters, Jessica Mitchell, Angela Ladner and Ann Culpepper; sisters, Cora Northcutt and Melba Williams; brother, Randy Weldon; nine grandchildren; and his two faithful companions, Sissy and Chloe. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with an 11:30 a.m. service all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
