Robert John Liberato, 53, of Biloxi, MS, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away unexpectedly at the Ellwood City Hospital on Tuesday, November 29, 2011.
Born in Ellwood City on June 26, 1958, he was the son of Mary Ann Sappie Buzard of Ellwood City and the late Vincent Liberato. Robert married the former Sheila Kay Edelman on September 18, 1997. He was a 1977 graduate of Lincoln High School and when he lived in Ellwood, he worked at Don's IGA as a butcher. Robert was a sales representative for a food service company in Biloxi. Bob was a wonderful husband and father, to know him was to love him and he will be sorely missed by all.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a stepson, James Fayard, Jr. and two nieces, Brittany Smith and Stephanie Buzard.
In addition to his wife and his mother, Robert is survived by his children, Brandon and Angela Liberato; two stepsons, Josh and Chris Fayard; a grandson, Maddox Fayard, all of Biloxi; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Darrell Schliffka, Janice and Bill Baur, Sharon and Wayne Smith, all of Ellwood City and Amy and Pastor Denny Patterson of Nashville, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Beth Liberato of Gulfport, MS, Dennis and Luisa Buzard of Murfreesboro, TN, Chris and Kim Buzard of Richmond, TX and his stepfather, David Buzard of Ellwood City.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made to the American Heart Association, 2159 East Pass Road, Gulfport, MS 39507.
A memorial service will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park.
