Robert L. (Bob) "Paw Paw" Grimes

Robert L. (Bob) "Paw Paw" Grimes, 73, of Biloxi, MS died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, June 21, 2011. He was a loving husband and father and will be dearly missed by many. Mr. Grimes was a native of Sioux City, IA and longtime resident of D'Iberville, MS. He was retired from the United States Air Force and the owner of Grimes Cabinets & Tops, Inc. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Allen and Edith Grimes and True and Dorothy Clayton; two sisters, Beverly Grimes and Donna Grimes Fetterman; two brothers, James Grimes and Gary Grimes. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Ann Parker Grimes of Biloxi; one son, Bobby Grimes (Jody) of Biloxi; three daughters, Martha N. Lawson (Michael) of Panama City, FL, Laura G. Grimes (Carla), and Rhonda A. Barrett (Phillip) all of Biloxi. He is also survived by three brothers, Ray Grimes of Jacksonville, FL, Charlie Grimes of Sioux City, IA and David Grimes of North Sioux City, SD. He leaves behind eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren with two more on the way. Memorial services will be on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time. The family would like to thank Dr. Brian Persing and his staff and Nurse Donna for their tireless dedication to his care.
