MSgt. Robert Allen Lacy, USAF Ret., 46, of Ocean Springs, MS went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, after fighting a yearlong courageous battle with brain cancer. He will be greatly missed.
Robert served twenty-two years in the U.S.A.F. as an Avionics Technician. After retiring from the U.S.A.F., Robert worked for Hunnington Ingalls. He loved playing golf, watching the Cowboys and pestering his children. Robert was a goofball and he was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a member of Woodhaven Baptist Church in Ocean Springs.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Margaret K. Lacy; two nieces; and one nephew.
His survivors include his wife of twenty-six years, Sharon Brinson Lacy; his sons, Kaleb Lacy and Aaron Lacy; his daughter, Breanna Lacy; his grandson, Braxton Jameson Boyd; his brothers, David (Alice) Lacy and Jay (Lori) Lacy; his mother, Lula Barberee; his sister-in-law, Karen (Cham) Schofield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at Woodhaven Baptist Church on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
