Robert Lee Bosarge

Mr. Robert L. "Bobby" Bosarge, age 76, of Ocean Springs, MS., died on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Bosarge was a lifelong resident of the community and loved fishing, painting, and music. He was a Navy veteran and retired from Ingalls after thirty years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Mary Bosarge, two sisters, Julie Riefeel and Barbara Hall and two brothers, Bill Bosarge and Leonard Bosarge. Survivors include his wife of fifty six years, Mary Theresa Ladnier Bosarge of Ocean Springs, MS., two daughters, Linda (Billy) Casto of Sandy Creek, WV, and Jennifer Bosarge Hillyard, a son, Mark R. (Virginia) Bosarge, all of Ocean Springs, MS., three sisters, Dorothy Rickey of El Cerrito, CA., Inez Ryan and Melba Smith, a brother, Jerry Bosarge, all of Ocean Springs, MS., six grandchildren, David George of Ft. Walton Beach, FL., Christy Long of Bossier City, LA., Suzanne Hawkins, Michael Hillyard, John Mark Bosarge, and Ashley Bosarge, all of Ocean Springs, and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 17, 2007, from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM, 9:30 AM Rosary, followed by an 11:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial, all at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs. Burial will follow in Bosarge Cemetery The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
