Mr. Robert L. "Bob" Jarrett, 74, of the Latimer Community, went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 12, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Jarrett was born in Rison, AR and has been a resident of the Gulf Coast for the past 45 years. He was a retired Master Sergeant with the U. S. Air Force and served during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from Civil Service after working at Keesler Air Force Base for 20 years. He was later employed with Bancorp South. He was a member of the Fountain of Life Tabernacle in Gulfport.
Mr. Jarrett was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, June Shoemaker Jarrett. He is survived by his daughters, Dr. Thelma J. Roberson and Roseanne L. Jarrett; sons, Milan L. Jarrett and Tim W. Jarrett; sister, Eloise Bancroft; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
