Robert Leon Gay, M/Sgt. USAF, Retired, age 70, of D'Iberville, MS., died Saturday, January 28, 2006, at the Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, N.C. Mr. Gay was a resident of D'Iberville since 1963. He was a US Air Force Retired M/Sgt. after 20 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Ladner Gay, and his father, George Oran Gay. He is survived by four sons, Alan (Jill) Gay of Biloxi, MS., Bobby Gay of Killeen, TX., Scott Gay of Biloxi, MS., and James Norton of Lansing, MI., his mother, Ethel Jordan Gay of Parkwood Village, N.C., a brother, William O. "Bill" (Phyllis) Gay of Wilson, N.C., grandchildren, Alan Gay, Jr., Trevor Gay, David Norton and Jennifer Norton, a nephew, Phillip Gay and niece, Stacy Gay. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 4, 2006, from 10-11 AM, with an 11 AM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
