Robert L. Glaser, Jr., Lt. Col. USA (ret.), 83, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2007 in Jacksonville, FL.
Born in Burlington, Iowa, he was a decorated B-24 pilot during WW II, flying 34 combat missions. He retired from Ingall's Shipbuilding and served as President of the Ingall's Employee's Credit Union for many years. He had been a member of the Episcopal Church of The Redeemer in Biloxi where he also served on the Vestry.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Glaser of Jacksonville, FL; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Pegg Glaser of Soso, MS, and two granddaughters, Katherine and Victoria Glaser, also of Soso, MS.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors. The Rt. Reverend Jackson Biggers officiating.
The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
