Robert Lewis Brent, Sr.

Mr. Robert Lewis "Bobby" Brent, 79, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Brent ws born in Biloxi where he remained a lifelong resident. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict and owned and operated Biloxi Marble Works since 1955. He served many years as a deacon and church organist at First Baptist Church in Biloxi where he was a longtime faithful member. Mr. Brent was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Brent. He is survived by his son, Robert Lewis Brent, Jr.; sister, Clyde Talley; brothers, James Brent and Michael Brent; and grandson, Robert Lewis "Robb" Brent, III. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at 10 a.m.. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
