Robert Gayle Moran

Our beloved Dad & Papa, age 75, left his loving family to go home to be with the Lord on August 28, 2021. He was the son of deceased, Olige & Edna Moran of Gulfport, MS where he grew up. Gayle attended St John’s Catholic schools from elementary through high school and graduated from Harrison Central. After high school he worked for Teledyne Irby Steel for many years until the business closed. Later, he became self-employed repairing tractors, lawn mowers, heavy equipment and most anything that needed repair. Gayle was always available for anyone that needed a helping hand. He loved to talk and never met a stranger. Gayle is survived and will be deeply missed by his children William Moran (Kendra), Melissa Brignac (Bobby) and Mindy Clark (Gary); His Grandchildren Alyssa Rondinelli, Blake Chopin, Lainey Clark, Shawn Carpenter, Jessica Brignac, Bryan Brignac, Meagen Lee, Landon Brignac; Great-grandchildren Addison Lee, Noah Lee, Jayce Dean and Harper Brignac; His beloved surviving siblings Garland Moran, Glinda Gartman (Jerry), Sherry Rutland, Perry Moran (Debbie) and Barbara White (Gary); Nieces and Nephews Jared Gartman, Thressa Baker (John), Craig Gartman (Melissa), Glenn Gartman (Tammy), Martha Moraway, Amy Gibson (Tra), Johnathan Ladner (Amber), Lyndsay Burnett, Autumn Baker, Summer Baker, Zachary Gartman, Michael Gartman, Hunter Gartman, Alyson Lee, Aydan Moraway, Tratyn Gibson, Addison Ladner, Anna Grace Ladner, Barrett Ladner, and Beckett Ladner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at St Ann’s Catholic Church, 23529 MS Hwy 53, Gulfport, MS 39503. Visitation is from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Burial will be immediately after the service at Finley Cemetery. Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport, MS is honored to serve the Moran family.
