Robert “Bob” Willard Sudduth, age 67, a resident of Gulfport, MS, passed away on December 25, 2022, at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA.
Bob was born on October 17, 1955, to the late Evelyn and Robert E. Sudduth. He graduated from Fletcher Academy in 1973.
In 1975, Bob joined the United States Navy where he served as a Hospital Corpsman. During his time in the Navy, Bob met his wife, Ingrid, in the Philippines. They were married in Okinawa, Japan, in 1985 and went on to have one child, Robert Rafael Sudduth.
After retiring from the U.S. Navy in 1994, Bob became an independent truck owner/operator which was his occupation until he passed away.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. and Evelyn Sudduth; brother, Samuel Sudduth; sister, Wanda Freeman; brother-in-law, Jim Freeman.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Ingrid N. Sudduth; son, Robert R. Sudduth; sister, Lorene (Ron) Pryhorocki; and a host of cousins, nephews, and nieces.
The family of Robert W. Sudduth wishes to extend their gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Ochsner Medical Center for their care and efforts.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 1:00-3:00 PM at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15452 O’Neal Road, Gulfport, MS.
