Robert Walter Lowery

Mr. Robert W. Lowery, 61, of Biloxi, MS, died Sunday, October 11, 2009, in Biloxi. Mr. Lowery was born in Laurel, MS and had been a longtime resident of the coast. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran of Vietnam and a former Biloxi Police Officer. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Gautier and the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Lowery was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Carmelita Nowell Lowery. He is survived by his daughters, Stacy Lowery of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Christy (David) Giancaspro of Gulfport; four brothers, Jimmy Lowery and Mark Lowery of Ellisville, MS, Ronny Lowery of Runnelstown, MS, and Eddie Lowery of Laurel, MS; four grandchildren, Sarah Smith, Dustin Ross, Valerie Giancaspro and Patience Giancaspro; and special friends, Charles, Rebecca, and Doodles Hedrick of Biloxi. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, 809 De La Pointe Drive, Gautier, MS 39553. Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 15, 2009, at 1:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
