Roberta "Granny" Asselin

Roberta "Granny" Asselin, 83, of Gulfport died Friday, April 22, 2005 in Hot Springs, AR. She was born in Springfield, MA and had been a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1948. She was retired from Memorial Hospital at Gulfport and was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Gulfport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Leo Asselin. She is survived by a daughter, Roberta Iversen of Gulfport; two granddaughters, April Dana- Rouse and Cherish Smith; and five great-grandchildren, Burgundy Skji Hanna, Joseph Steven Hanna, Alexander Lee Rouse, Emma Brooke Rouse, and Madalyn Alexis Smith. Visitation will be Wednesday April 27, 2005 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. The funeral service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
