Rodney Bruce Dolson

Rodney Bruce Dolson, age 79, of Biloxi passed away Monday, September 14, 2015. Rodney was a native of Chicago and had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for many years. He was a Retired United States Airforce Veteran and had been assigned to the National Honor Guard. He was a member of the Magnolia Masonic Lodge No. 120 in Biloxi and a member of the Joppa Shrine Temple. He was a longtime employee of Ace Moving and Storage in Gulfport. Rodney is preceded in death by his wife, Avis Marie Dolson. Survivors include his niece, Charlotte (Glenn) England; caregiver and friend, Lisa Hedin; cousins; and friends. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to The Humane Society of South MS, 2615 25th Ave., Gulfport, MS 39501 (228-863-3354) or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (800-805-5856). Graveside service will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Biloxi National Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
