Roger Joseph Gaudin, Sr.

Mr. Roger Joseph Gaudin, Sr., 82, of Biloxi, MS, died Friday, April 7, 2006, in Gulfport after a long fight with diabetes and heart disease. Mr. Gaudin was a native of Donaldsonville, Louisiana and had been a longtime resident of Biloxi. He was a decorated veteran of the U. S. Army and the U. S. Air Force with 24 years of service in WW II, Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Mr. Gaudin was preceded in death by his son, Roger J. Gaudin, Jr. and his parents, Joseph V. and Felide Roger Gaudin. Survivors include his wife, Marie Louise Chapman Gaudin, of Biloxi; two daughters, Diane Gaudin Enke of Bellevillle, Illinois, and Mary Gaudin of Biloxi; two sons, John Gaudin of Castle Rock, CO, and David Gaudin of Biloxi; eight grandchildren, Donald D. Enke of Belleville, ILL, Deanna Enke Gotch of Belleville, ILL, Heather Gaudin Paterson of Aurora, CO, Christopher Gaudin of CA, Erica Leigh Gaudin of Nashville, TN, Joseph Comunale of Biloxi, Jonathan Gaudin of Aurora, CO, and Ashley Marie Gaudin of Nashville, TN, and eleven great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors. The Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
