Roger “Sal” David Salois, 55, of Gulfport, MS passed away Friday, June 21, 2013. He was born on October 9, 1957 in Providence, RI. He served 22 years in the United States Navy Seabees and retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. He was currently an employee of the Department of Defense at the Seabee Base in Gulfport, MS. He was a member of the DAV and the American Legion.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents Irenee and Rita Salois of Pawtucket, RI. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Holly Salois; two daughters of Gulfport, MS; Jamie (Walter) Taylor and Lori (Stephen) Greiner; granddaughter Avery Greiner also of Gulfport, MS; Sister Gert (Tommy) Cavaco of Coventry, RI; brother Rene (Kathy) Salois of North Scituate, RI; father-in-law Alfred Fellows of Gulfport, MS; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at BRADFORD-=O’KEEFE FUNERAL HOME, O’Neal Rd. Gulfport. A graveside service, with military honors by the U.S. Navy, will be on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
