Roland Paul Meaut

Mr. Roland Paul Meaut, age 89, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018. Mr. Meaut was a lifelong resident of Biloxi and Ocean Springs. He retired from Dees Chevrolet in Biloxi as a used car sales manager. He was a United States Coast Guard Veteran and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and also attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He was a member of the Fleur de Lis French Club and was an avid golfer. Mr. Meaut is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lucy Meaut; son, Roland Meaut, Jr.; and brothers, Louis Meaut and Clarence “Buddy” Meaut. Survivors include his sons, Charles Meaut, Tim Meaut and Kenneth Meaut; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
