Ronald Wayne Carter

Ronald Wayne Carter Jr., 44, passed away August 8,2021, in Gulfport, MS. Wayne was born in Gulfport on March 11, 1977. He was a self-proclaimed professional gambler and pool shark. He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Wayne Carter, Sr. Survivors include his parents, Joan & Ralph Fowler of Gulfport, MS; his children of Gulfport, MS; his four siblings Sheila (Richie) Bachtel, Stephanie (Anonymous) Carter, David (Hayley) Carter and Michael (Shay) Fowler all of Gulfport, MS. His only daughter, Hanna, was a daddy's girl who loved to spend time with him. Making fun of each other & going out to eat were two of their favorite things to do which generated lots of conversations and lasting memories. Wayne was a jack of all trades who could perform surgery on a telephone with a butter knife. Those set of skills were useful in leading many construction projects throughout his life. He was a man of many words. If you asked his siblings, he was a man of too many words at times. The pranks and “one upping” contests will be greatly missed. Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling and playing pool. His sense of humor and witty personality will be missed by many.
