Ronald Dee Puett

Mr. Ronald Dee Puett, age 59, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away from this earthly life into the hands of God, on Sunday, February 6, 2011. Ron was born on August 15, 1951, in Topeka, KS. He was the gas supply and distribution manager for Blossman Gas for 26 years. He enjoyed woodworking and flying kites on the beach. He was an avid NASCAR fan and Blossman arranged for him to take part in the Kyle Petty Workshop where he drove a NASCAR at Atlanta Speedway. He was also an avid Kansas University Jayhawks fan and will be missed by his family, friends and co-workers. Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Eldon Puett. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 38 years, Jeanna Long Puett; three children, Robert Puett of Mobile, AL., Jamie Puett of Ocean Springs and Tami Hurlbert of Pittsburg, KS, parents, Marvin and Elizabeth Puett of Billings, MO., sister, Kim Puett of Topeka, KS., and grandchildren, Jarret Puett of Lewisport, KY, Kyle and Reagan Stevenson of Ocean Springs, Roman and Makenzi Hurlbert of Pittsburg, KS, special friend and sister-in-law, Connie Puett of Kansas City, MO, and several nieces and nephews. On Thursday, February 10, 2011, there will be a 3 pm Memorial Service at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
