Ronald "Ronnie" George Iachino of Biloxi, MS, born February 10, 1947, passed away at home surrounded by love on Saturday, November 27, 2010 after a long and couragious battle with leukemia. Ronnie was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and also a member of the Knights of Columbus and was the chairman for the Cursillo Golf Tournament, an event that was dear to his heart for 25 years. Ronnie was the owner and operator of Southern Fastener & Tool Co., Inc. of Gulfport, MS since 1994. He loved the game of golf and enjoyed playing with his longtime friends more for laughs than for the game itself. He also loved to play cards with family and friends, as well as playing poker at Boomtown. He will be missed by many. Ronnie is preceded in death by his father, Al Iachino; mother, Betty (Parker) Lepoma; brother, Al Iachino, Jr., his first wife Barbara (Trebotich) Iachino; son, Stephen Iachino; father-in-law, Guy B. Roberts, Sr. and his best friend, Jimmie Fayard, Sr. Ronnie is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Darnell (Roberts) Iachino; daughters, Robyn Iachino Johnson, Mindy Hebert; sons, Glenn (Brandy) Hebert and Cory Hebert; his precious grandchildren, Ally, Barbara Ann, Marissa Lynn, Katelynn Marie, Cameren, Alexis and Peyton Luke; sisters and brothers, Susan (Michael) Schumacher, Vickie (Clarence) Jordan, Sr., Doris (Bill) Reifel, Jenny (Eric) Danziger, Beaver (Debbie) Holland, Jeff Holland, and Belinda (Larry) Fayard; mother-in-law, Iris (Dubaz) Roberts; brothers and sisters-in law, Guy B. (Barbara) Roberts, Jr., Charmaine (the late, Mark) Landry, David (Linda) Roberts, Robin (Phillip) Mullen and Laurie (Richard) Pinette; numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces, family and friends. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Michael Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until mass time. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to: The Cursillo Movement of South MS, P.O. Box 7450, D'Iberville, MS 39540. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
