Ronald Stephen “Steve” Hankins Sr. January 17, 1945-November 25, 2021 Steve Hankins Sr., 76, of Biloxi, MS died Thursday, November 25, 2021. Hankins was a lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was the owner of Biloxi Plumbing Service. His company serviced the Gulf Coast for years. He was the President of City of Biloxi Plumbing Board and member since August 25, 1995. He graduated from Biloxi High School in 1964 and was drafted in 1966 when he served in Vietnam. Steve was married on August 20, 1965 to Georgia Gale Jenkins of Biloxi. Together, they returned home and had 2 children, Steve Hankins Jr of Biloxi and Zak Ree(Marisa) Hankins of Biloxi. Steve loved old cars and riding his Harley. He loved to tell stories of old Biloxi, the way it was and should have stayed. He loved his city on the Gulf. He is preceded in death by his father, Simie Ree Hankins; mother, Vada Ruth Hankins; and Robert Lee Hankins Sr. Survivors include his sons, Steve Hankins Jr. and Zak Ree Hankins; daughter-in-law, Marisa Hankins; granddaughter, Gracie Hankins; brothers, John Mark Hankins and James Micah Hankins; and sisters, ReeNell Hankins, Frances Wescovich, Suzana Kosovich, Diane Bolin, and Rebecca Slade. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Ave. A visitation will be held prior from 1 PM – 2 PM. Interment will be at Biloxi National Cemetery.
