Ronald Harry Hooke, age 72, of Biloxi, MS. died Sunday, November 22, 2009, in Biloxi. Mr. Hooke was a native of Boston, Massachusetts and was a coast resident for 51 years. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He drove for the Yellow Cab Company for over 20 years and worked as a security guard for 10 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roland M. and Lillian M. Hooke, and a sister, Helen Bayn. Survivors include two daughters, Sandy Balius of Latimer and Susan Diane Patterson of Ocean Springs, son, Ronald Harry Hooke, Jr. of Latimer, three step children, Debra Hight, Earl Waltman, both of Vancleave, and Johnny Bang of Ocean Springs, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, two special friends, Helen Waltman of Vancleave and Jack Patterson of Tuscaloosa, AL. On Friday, November 27, 2009 there will be a 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service at Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to assist in final expenses.
