Ronald Anthony Mason, Sr., 76, of Biloxi, died Thursday, November 1, 2012.
Ronald was a longtime resident of the Gulf Coast. He was an US Army Veteran, serving as a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division. Ronald worked for Biloxi Water Works for 20 years and Harrison County Sheriff’s Office for 32 years, where he received the Valor of Honor medal. He was a retired member of BPOE Lodge #606 and a member of the V.F.W. in Biloxi.
Ronald is preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Brewer Mason; parents, Floris Toups and William Mason; and his son, Ronald A. Mason Jr.
His survivors include his wife, Betty Bond Mason; his daughter, Shelly Mason; two grandchildren, Megan Mason Askey and Cameron Johnson; three step-daughters; and two great-grandchildren, McKenzie Love Point and Aaron Askey, Jr.
A funeral service will be held at D’Iberville Christian Assembly on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
