Ronald Ronnie Poole

Ronald “Ronnie” Poole, age 59, of Pass Christian, died Monday, March 26, 2012 in Pass Christian. He was born in Clarksville, TN and had been a resident of Pass Christian since 1996. He retired as a First Sergeant in the U.S. Army in 1990 after over 20 years of service, serving two tours in Vietnam and Desert Storm for 18 months. He was also employed with Smith Construction, Inc. for 15 years and L.J. Construction for the last five years where he was a foreman. He was a four-wheeler enthusiast and a deer hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Poole and Frankie Hudson; and a step-daughter, Jennifer Moss. He is survived by his wife, Nancy L. Poole of Pass Christian; two daughters, Destiny (Jen) Poole of Owls Head, Maine, and Brandy (Jeremy) Carlson of Manteca, CA; two step-daughters, Jacqueline Reville and Echo Rhodes; two sons, Ben of Laurel and Kevin of Gulfport; three sisters, including Sue (Greg) Mitchell of Long Beach; two brothers, Butch (Abbie) Perkins of Gulfport, Joe Poole of Saucier; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach with U.S. Army full military honors.
