Ronald L. Ray

Ronald L. “Ronnie” Ray was born October 18, 1947 and was relieved of the chaotic pain of this life on Sunday, May 18, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast, a graduate of Long Beach High School and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. Ronnie served the people of Biloxi working on the Biloxi Police Department for 30 years, retiring as Lieutenant. His passion was classic cars and enjoyed all activities associated with his hobby. He was of the Baptist Faith. Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Shelia Langlanaise Ray; and parents, Lucille and Arnell Ray. Survivors include his brother, David A. Ray and his wife, Betty; step-son, Robbley Langlanaise. At Ronnie’s request, there will be no funeral services. The family prefers any memorials to be made to the American Diabetes Association, 350 W. Woodrow Wilson Drive, Suite 2470, Jackson, MS 39213. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
