Ronnie Neil King, Jr.

On Friday, February 11, 2022, Ronnie Neil King, Jr., a loving son, dear brother, and beloved grandson, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 28.  The family is deeply saddened by his sudden death.

Neil was born in Gulfport, MS on November 8, 1993.  He was a lifelong resident of Gulfport and graduated from Gulfport High School in 2012.  He was a member of First Baptist Church, Gulfport, MS.  Neil loved his family and friends and leaves behind many fond memories for them all.  Neil captured his sister’s heart from the moment he was born.  Kara kept a close eye on her younger brother and was nicknamed “Little Mama” by their daycare teachers because she was always reminding them of Neil’s food allergies.  In his younger years he loved wearing his button down and one of the many ties from his collection.  At one point as a little guy, he even insisted on wearing full suits.  His grandparents always enjoyed his frequent visits to their home to share a meal, mow the grass, target shoot, fish or just to spend time talking.  Camping and traveling to the Smokies in his early childhood created cherished memories for his family.

He is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Renee Wall King; his sister, Kara Necaise (Patrick Dale); his maternal grandparents, Earl “Papaw” and Gloria “Nana” Wall; his paternal grandparents, John “Papaw John” and Peggy “Memaw” King; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves behind his favorite dog, Ollie.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Dewey Drexel King.

There will be a time of visitation at First Baptist Church, Gulfport, MS on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 10:00AM and a celebration of life at 11:00AM.  Graveside service will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the King family.
