RosaLee Thornton

RosaLee Thornton, 96, born August 22, 1910 in Handsboro, MS. died Wednesday, January 31, 2007 in Gautier, MS. RosaLee was a longtime resident of Biloxi. She worked at W.V. Joyce Clothing Company and retired from J.C. Penney's. Rosalee was a member of East End Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her mother , Mary Alice Farlow Latimer and her father, William Elija Latimer. Survivors include Joseph Robert Thornton III and wife Shirley Ann Mickoul Thornton and their children: Greg Thornton and Jo Love Thornton. Daughter: Patsy Ann Thornton Bell and husband Jerry W. Bell and their children: Jeffrey Thornton Bell and wife Denise Love Bell and Kimberly Ann Bell. Daughter: Linda Sue Thornton Corso and her children: James Carroll Corso, Jr., Victoria Faith Corso, and Paulette Hope Corso McQueen and husband Kevin McQueen. Son: Aldon Wayne Thornton and wife Donna Nasif Thornton and their children: Pauline Nicole Thornton and Alexandra Danielle Thornton. Survivors also include 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and her sister: Aline Latimer Goff. Two caregivers: Terry Waters and Sharon Casey. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 5, 2007, at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
