Rosalie Ingouf Manuel, age 66, passed away peacefully in her home April 25, 2011. Her final days were spent surrounded by the love and affection of family and friends. Rosalie was born August 21, 1944 in Shreveport, LA. She graduated from St. Vincent Academy and received her B.S. from Louisiana State University. Following college graduation she moved to and resided in Biloxi, MS until her death.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Kuhn Ingouf; father, Alphonse Ingouf and very special uncle, Charles Kuhn, all of Shreveport, LA.
Rosalie is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Larry Manuel; sons, John Dellenger, Charles Dellenger and wife, Renee, Michael Dellenger and wife, Lisa, Leo Manuel and Maurice Manuel and granddaughters, Caroline, Madison and Katie.
Rosalie lived for her family. She never missed a school or sporting event for her children and loved to be surrounded by her friends. In her free time, Rosalie was an avid reader and bridge player. She also loved watching her LSU Tigers play. She will be sorely missed by her family, friends and many "adopted" children.
Rosalie and her family express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Ben Cheney, Dr. Laurence Lines, Dr. Brian Persing, Odyssey Health Care and all of the caregivers from Biloxi Regional Medical Center for their care and dedication.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to: the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
Services will be on Friday, April 29, 2011 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church at 12:30 p.m. Friends may visit from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Inurnment will be in Biloxi City Cemetery.
