Rose A. Eaken-Barnett

Mrs. Rose Eaken Barnett, age 78, of Vancleave, MS., passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2008, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Rose was dearly loved by her family and friends and was known for her quick wit and great sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her son, Leonard Dewey Barnett, three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Leonard Eugene Barnett, her son, David Eugene Barnett, and her daughter, Rebecca Ann Baker, three granddaughters, Heidi Reese, Jacqueline Clark, and Chastity Barnett, four grandsons, Sean Barnett, Jeremy Barnett, Zachary Baker and Jacob Baker, two great-granddaughters, Aubrey Walker and Paige Weatherly, and three great-grandsons, Trevin Reese, Donovan Reese and Chaffin Clark. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 27, 2008, from 6-7 PM, with a 7 P.M. Memorial Service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
