Rose Marie Goode

Rose Marie Goode, 91, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024. She was born April 27, 1933 in Biloxi, MS to Lorenzo and Lillian Krohn.

Rose graduated from Biloxi High School in 1951. She went to nursing school and became a Registered Nurse. She met and married David Goode, an Air Force Lieutenant at Keesler Air Force Base. They had a great career and traveled the world. Rose returned to Biloxi in 2012 after David’s passing. She spent her final days enjoying her return to her beloved Biloxi, visiting Ship Island and all the local venues including a few casinos. 

Rose is preceded in death by her husband, David M. Goode Jr.; parents, Lorenzo and Lillian Krohn; and siblings, Pete Krohn, Anthony Krohn, Theresa Sullivan, Mary Masone, and Beverly Krohn.

Survivors include her children, Beverly A. Haffeman, Julia R. Goode, David M. Goode III, and Andrew W. Goode; grandchildren, Matthew J. Goode and Peter A. Goode.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. Following the Interment, a reception will be held at the Parrish Hall of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church until 4:00 pm.
