Rose M. Williams

Mrs. Rose M. Williams, 72, of the Latimer Community, died Saturday, October 1, 2005, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Williams was a native of Jefferson, Missouri and had been a resident of the coast for the past 35 years. She was a Red Cross volunteer for 20 years and a member of the Gulf Coast Bowling Association where she served as club secretary and board member. She was also a member of the Gulf Coast Medical Center's Sunshine Guild. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Martha Smith Howard and three sisters, Mary Sharrock, Elizabeth Rankin and Shirley Williams. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Edward L. Williams of Latimer; three daughters, Shirley Ann McCusker of D'Iberville; Mary Elizabeth Dikes of Latimer a nd Betty Lynn Skrmetti of Ocean Springs and six grandchildren. Visitation is Tuesday, October 4, 2005, from 5 till 7 p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Funeral services will be 12 noon Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
