Rose Mae Freeman, 94, of Biloxi, MS died on Friday, October 1, 2010. Mrs. Freeman was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. She was also a lifelong member of St. Michael Catholic Church. A member of the Altar Society, member and past president of the Fleur de Lis Ladies Auxiliary, member of the Jolly Travelers and Golden Age Club. Mrs. Freeman is preceded in death by her husband, Asel "June" Freeman; parents, Xavier and Premise Boudwin; sisters, Rosa LeLeaux, Rita Ellzey; brother, Clarence Boudwin and granddaughter, Rhonda Freeman. She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Simmons; sons, Jerrel (Marilyn) Freeman, Walter (Cindy) Freeman, Wallace (Gilda) Freeman; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until mass time. Interment will follow in Swetman Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to: St. Michael Catholic Church Building Fund, 177 First St., Biloxi, MS 39530. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, Biloxi is in charge arrangements.
