Rose Marie Guess

Maybe heaven needed another rose to add to its bouquet when Rose Marie Guess, 83, died Sunday, July 26, 2009 at home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard C. Guess: three children, Richard C. Guess, Jr. of San Luis Obispo, CA, Randall B. Guess of Portland, OR, and Grace M. Guess of Ridgeland, MS. She has five grandchildren, Neil Sanford, Sarah Diaz, Rose Marie Guess, Shane Guess, and Kristin Guess and one great granddaughter, Hayden Diaz. She is preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Barron; three sisters, Louise Walker, Ouida Sanders, and Hazel Rice. Rose was a loving wife and mother who will be missed by her family and many friends that she had over her lifetime. Memorial services were held Tuesday, July 28 at the National Cemetery, Biloxi, MS.
