Rose Marie Kolich

Rose Kolich, 72, of Biloxi, MS died on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Ocean Springs Hospital after a long illness. She was born on March 20, 1938, the only child of John and Alma Kolich, both deceased. She attended Sacred Heart Academy where she earned the title of "Miss Sacred Heart". Rose graduated from the University of Southern MS earning a BA in Accounting. She moved to New Orleans and worked for Murphy Oil and Boeing until returning home in 1969 to work for Ingalls Shipbuilding in the finance department, until she retired in 1998. Rose continued to work with her business partner and long time friend Cathy Braun Jasinski at It Could Happen Embroidery, their business in Biloxi. She loved to travel, visiting Europe, China and Russia. She is survived by her God children, Donna Bellais and Cami Jasinski as well as numerous cousins and special friends. She was well loved and will be missed by all. Graveside services will be held at Southern Memorial Park on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Vincent DePaul Pharmacy PO Box 1228, Biloxi, MS 39533. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Ave., Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
